Plan your transport

Ask the recipient who will supervise receipt and which facilities are actually available. Distinguish unloading from the vehicle, in-house movement to the installation point and later positioning or levelling. These tasks are not included simply because the order says delivery to plant. Also check whether the same person handles registration at the gate and the actual handover.

What the recipient should know in advance

Tell the recipient the arrival window, number and weight of packages, the heaviest single part and the unloading equipment needed. That lets them provide forklift, crane or staff in time and keep the set-down area clear.

Unloading without equipment at the destination

If the recipient has no crane or no sufficiently strong forklift, unloading must be solved another way. Let us know about this early. We discuss the options with you and how they can be reflected in planning and quotation.

What matters

  • Name the receiving contact with phone number
  • Distinguish unloading, moving in and installation
  • Have readiness for the arrival window confirmed
