For asymmetric machines, the total weight is not enough. Manufacturer data on centre of gravity and lifting points helps us plan loading and load securing safely, so it belongs in the enquiry.

A heavy drive, a side-mounted unit or a hydraulic tank cannot be read from the outer contour. Send any available drawings or manufacturer data that show the centre of gravity, without altering the documents. Check that the drawing matches the equipment actually installed. Label your own estimates as such; decisions on slings and lifting points are made by a competent person on the basis of confirmed data.
