Machine weight should match the actual unit and equipment being released.

Plan your transport

Distinguish net weight, packed weight and the combined weight of several items. State the source and unit. A total alone does not identify particularly heavy individual pieces within the proposed load. If a list includes individual weights and a total, they should reconcile transparently. Mark items with unknown weight instead of allocating an arithmetic remainder to them. For a packaged machine, a label such as weight including crate helps prevent the same packaging allowance being added again elsewhere in the enquiry.
