Moving individual machines between plants

When only individual machines change location, production around them continues. We plan transport to fit your operations and agree handover times with both plants.

Plan your transport

Name the unit concerned and the areas at the collection site that must remain accessible during collection. Ask both plants about possible handover times, for example between shifts or at weekends. Replace internal project names such as line change with a specific item list so that remaining machines are not planned in by mistake. Mark shared accessories whose assignment is still open.

Can I request transport for a single machine from a line?

Yes. Describe the condition in which it will be handed over and what preparatory work others will complete before collection. We then plan transport that affects the rest of the line as little as possible.

In a factory relocation we handle the transport part: moving your machines from the old to the new site in the right order. We plan it using your machine list and coordinate it with dismantling, installation and production planning.

Agreeing a machine’s collection readiness

A preferred date is not yet confirmed collection readiness. What matters is when the agreed items can actually be handed over. We agree the collection date with you and the releasing party so that vehicle and machine are ready at the same time.

Trade fair, customer demonstration, loan or temporary production elsewhere: a temporary machine move consists of an outbound and a return transport. We plan both with their own dates, conditions and contacts so the machine reliably comes back.
