Plan your transport

Record the new and old machine each with its own dimensions, weights and handover points. Clarify when the old machine will be dismantled and ready and from when the new one can be received. Between these events there is often work by other parties, such as foundation, electrical connection or installation, which should appear in the schedule. Clear identifiers for both machines prevent mix-ups between delivery and take-back.

A typical replacement sequence

Often the old machine is disconnected and collected first, the foundation adapted, and then the new machine delivered. Sometimes it is the other way round because the new machine can be stored in the hall beforehand. Which order fits depends on space, production and installation dates; we plan the transports accordingly.

Old machine going to another recipient

If the old machine goes to a dealer, buyer or recycler, it needs its own destination, recipient and possibly its own release. Give these details separately from the delivery of the new machine, and we can plan both routes cleanly.

What matters

  • Record old and new machine separately
  • Confirm readiness of the old and receipt of the new
  • Mark intermediate work in the schedule
