Plan your transport

A textile machine’s working width is not its transport width; side frames and drives add to it. With several identical machines from one hall, the serial number is more reliable than internal hall designations. Assign rolls, creels and cabinets to the right machine. If some parts only become accessible after production ends, give the date for the inventory check so that provisional and confirmed details remain distinguishable.

What matters

  • Measure transport width rather than working width
  • List beams, rolls and creels that travel
  • Record serial numbers of identical machines
