In operation, a furnace is connected to external cabinets, cables and exhaust ducts. For the enquiry, what counts is which units are ready after disconnection; ask the operator to mark that boundary on a sketch. Cooling down and disconnection are carried out by the operator or a specialist company before collection. Chamber size or usable volume describes the function, not the outer contour. Refractory lining and insulation can add considerable weight.
What matters
- Distinguish furnace body, base and switchgear
- List exhaust parts and ducts separately
- Have the cooled and disconnected state confirmed
